Online Counseling

I am certified as a Distance Credentialed Counselor (DCC 553) and as a Board Certified Telemental Health Provider (#1320). I am trained in online therapy, also known as etherapy, online counseling, internet therapy, distance counseling, etc. These modalities work particularly well for people with scheduling or distance concerns.

I work regularly using multiple platforms with clients I have seen in person in my office. Many of my clients travel and we often work this way or via phone and email.  I am licensed to see new clients online as long as they live in California. During the coronavirus crisis, my license is portable (most likely temporarily) and I can work with people across state borders. I work with both encrypted platforms such as Doxy_me and Zoom and familiar ones such as Skype and Facetime.
